The controversy surrounding Dr. Bhongolethu Mzozo, better known as Dr. Khehlelezi, has rocked social media, sparking widespread shock and disbelief. Mzozo, a prominent Umkhonto Wesizwe party member, YouTube sensation, and revered traditional healer, is now facing serious allegations that have raised profound concerns about his personal and professional conduct.

As a well-known polygamous preacher and the leader of the Isithelo SikaJehovah Church, Mzozo has long been an influential figure in KwaZulu-Natal and beyond. However, disturbing claims made by a woman named Zintle from Dutywa in the Eastern Cape have thrown his reputation into question. Allegations of sexual misconduct, coupled with unsettling reports of a corpse allegedly found at his home and another allegedly seen in his phone, have sent shockwaves through both his followers and the broader South African public, leaving many to question the true nature of his practices and beliefs.

Zintle, in a viral video that has caused widespread shock, claims that Dr. Khehlelezi had sexual intercourse with her, during which she allegedly observed disturbing details about his personal life. One of the most troubling aspects of her testimony was her claim that she saw not one, but two corpses, one in his house and a decomposed body of a coloured person with tattoos in his phone.

“ I saw a corpse, umntu ofileyo endlini ka Dr. Khehlelezi  (a dead person in Dr. Khehlelezi’s house).  I decided to keep quiet, to keep my peace,” she alleged.   Zintle, who has referred to Dr. Khehlelezi as “Khehlelezi wezidumbu” (loosely translating to “Khehlelezi of corpses:), made the disturbing claim that she kept quiet about the alleged presence of the bodies at the time, though she could not help but wonder whose bodies they were.

The allegations against Dr. Khehlelezi do not stop at the issue of corpses. Zintle also alleged that Dr. Khehlelezi, known for his controversial reputation within spiritual and healing circles, sleeps with women, including wives of other men in the MK party. Her accusations have painted a troubling portrait of a man whose position as a trusted spiritual leader has now come into question. The video also included her assertion that during their sexual encounters, Dr. Khehlelezi performed poorly, with Zintle claiming that he finished within two minutes on all four occasions.

In a separate video, Dr. Khehlelezi addressed the allegations. While he admitted to having had sex with Zintle, he refuted the most sensational parts of her claims. He said he had stopped during their encounter because Zintle had started to bleed, explaining that as a traditional healer, he could not engage in sexual intercourse with a woman who was bleeding. His remarks, however, did little to absolve him from the more serious accusations about the corpses.

Furthermore, Dr. Khehlelezi did not deny that he had been in a relationship with Zintle. However, he strongly denied that he had ever been romantically involved with anyone within the MK party, despite Zintle’s claims suggesting otherwise. His admission that he was in a relationship with Zintle adds another layer of complexity to the unfolding saga, as the woman’s accusations paint him as someone willing to engage in risky and morally questionable behaviour.

The allegations surrounding Dr. Khehlelezi have not only stirred controversy among his followers but also raised concerns about the broader spiritual community he is part of. Traditional healers, like Dr. Khehlelezi, hold considerable influence in certain South African communities, and these kinds of allegations could have far-reaching implications for their credibility and trustworthiness. The suggestion that Dr. Khehlelezi may have engaged in activities involving corpses, particularly in a religious and healing context, has the potential to tarnish the reputation of traditional healers in South Africa, where ancestral healing practices are widely respected but also often subject to scrutiny.

The alleged presence of corpses in his home, if the allegations are proven to be true, could lead to legal and criminal investigations. The matter is particularly concerning given that traditional healers are often seen as spiritual guides who are supposed to promote healing and well-being, not engage in practices that could be linked to necromancy or other illegal activities. Zintle’s statements have created a divide in public opinion. Some people are questioning her mental state and are skeptical of the validity of her claims, while some people are calling for further investigation.– @NewsSA_Online
