Today, 24 March 2025, Professor Lumkile Wiseman Nkuhlu, a visionary leader whose life and work have shaped South Africa’s accounting profession, education system, and broader society, was recognized with an honorary doctorate by the University of Johannesburg (UJ).In his acceptance speech at the graduation ceremony, Professor Nkuhlu said, “It is an incredibly special day for me and my family. We are exceedingly humbled and delighted by the recognition by this esteemed institution."
