Sinethemba Makhasi’s tragedy forced her to start afresh to become a unique style furniture entrepreneur “Following that incident, I had to start my life afresh, and this included buying new furniture which I had not bought in almost 20 years,” she reflects. At 44 years old, Makhasi is not just an entrepreneur; she is a beacon of hope for those who face adversity. With nearly two decades of experience in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector and a solid background in corporate communications and public relations, Sinethemba has honed her skills in various roles, including a notable stint as a Beauty Editor.
Her keen eye for aesthetics and her flair for creativity have already made a significant mark in the world of print media, but it was a personal tragedy that sparked her desire to embark on a new journey. In June 2023, a devastating fire claimed everything she owned, forcing Sinethemba to start over from scratch.
Thus, Cine Luxury Homes was born. Now, Makhasi offers a delightful selection of elegant and chic furniture items, from lounge suites to dining sets, all designed with an emphasis on affordability.
