BREAKING GROUNDS: T-Bose unveils new talk show, The Ones with T-Bose, set to inspire audiences on Mzansi Wethu

After more than three decades in the entertainment industry, renowned radio personality and music DJ Thabo “T-Bose” Mokwele is taking his talents to television with the debut of his highly anticipated talk show, The Ones with T-Bose. The show is set to premiere this Sunday, March 30, at 18:00 on Mzansi Wethu (DStv Channel 163).

Known for his captivating storytelling and unwavering connection with audiences, T-Bose is no stranger to engaging conversations. With his new venture, The Ones with T-Bose, the celebrated media personality is stepping into a new space as both host and co-executive producer. He is joined by Executive Producer Mapaseka Mokwele in bringing this unique television experience to life.

The show will be a two-part series, consisting of 26 episodes, co-produced by T-Bose Productions and Kohlective Films. The show promises to shine a spotlight on some of South Africa’s most influential and inspiring figures. Guests will come from a variety of industries, including business, music, and academia, offering a fresh and diverse perspective on the journeys that have shaped their success.

Confirmed guests for the first season include academic powerhouse Prof Mamokgethi Phakeng, renowned businesswoman and author Mogau Seshoene (Lazy Makoti), world-famous DJ and producer Black Coffee, and comedian Skhumba Hlophe, among others. These guests will not only share their personal stories but will also highlight how music plays an essential role in their journeys, weaving together a soundtrack that resonates with each narrative.

“The Ones with T-Bose is about great conversation with a bit of music. It’s a platform to explore the journeys that have shaped South Africa’s most influential figures, using their stories and the power of music to inspire and connect with our audience,” says Mokwele.

The debut episode is set to kick off with Grammy-winning producer and entrepreneur Zakes Bantwini. Zakes will dive deep into his inspiring journey from local talent to international success. Fans can expect to hear about the highs and lows of his career, as well as the experiences that have shaped him into the artist he is today. This episode is poised to set the tone for the rest of the series, promising engaging conversations and powerful storytelling.

T-Bose’s transition from radio to television feels like a natural evolution in his illustrious career. Over the years, his vibrant personality and ability to connect with people on a personal level have made him a household name in South Africa.
