Banyana Banyana Troops Ready for WAFCON

Banyana Banyana head coach Dr Desiree Ellis has named her squad for the upcoming Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), which will be staged in Morocco from 17 March to 3 April 2026.
The senior women’s national team will begin preparations with an alignment camp scheduled to run from 13 February to 2 March 2026, as South Africa gears up for another continental challenge.
The Goalkeepers
Ellis has selected four goalkeepers for the tournament, drawing from strong domestic clubs to ensure stability between the posts. The goalkeeping department consists of Kaylin Swart (JVW FC), Andile Dlamini (Mamelodi Sundowns FC), Dineo Magagula (TS Galaxy Queens FC) and Casey Gordon (JVW FC).
