For a week, the familiar rhythm of crashing waves and working boats was accompanied by a new sound - the click of cameras in the hands of children discovering the power to see, and to be seen.
This transformation is the heart of a bold collaboration between internationally acclaimed visual activist Zanele Muholi and former Miss South Africa Jo-Ann Strauss.
