A 2022 report conducted by WPN on SA real estate investment trusts (REIT), shows that the average executive female representation was 15% between 2013 and 2021, with non-executive females only amounting to 25%. At Attacq, 54% of employees and 45% of the board members are women.

But it’s not just in retail where Attacq’s women are making their mark. Theron, Head of Business Development, brings over three decades of expertise. Debbie’s approach is all about connection and collaboration, skills she uses beyond the boardroom, fostering strategic partnerships that drive Attacq’s vision forward. “It’s about opening doors of opportunity and nurturing relationships,” she says, underscoring her belief that long-term success comes from trust.

Rising star Mischa Tessendorf is fortifying Attacq’s sustainability efforts.
