As the founder of M L Scents (Pty) Ltd, a leading manufacturer of chemicals, cosmetics, and insecticides, Madikwa has not only carved out a significant niche for himself in the industry but has also emerged as an influential leader within the South African entrepreneurial landscape. His business has more than 50 people under its employ.

Born and bred in Cala, Eastern Cape, Madikwa’s journey is rooted in a robust educational background. He holds a degree in Analytical Chemistry, which provided him with the essential knowledge required to navigate the complexities of chemical manufacturing. His nine years of hands-on experience in the industry have equipped him with a deep understanding of product development, allowing him to apply theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios. This exceptional blend of education and experience gave Madikwa the tools he needed to turn his entrepreneurial dreams into reality.

His expertise in chemistry is evident in the meticulous crafting of high-quality products, whether they are cosmetics, insecticides, or cleaning agents. By adhering to stringent safety standards and quality controls, Madikwa has ensured that M L Scents delivers reliable and effective products that consumers can trust.

In 2016, Madikwa founded M L Scents Pty Ltd in Khayelitsha, Cape Town, with a clear vision of creating a brand that stands for quality and innovation. The company encompasses three distinctive brands: M L Scents, M L Hygiene, and M L Group. Each of these brands specializes in different product lines but shares a commitment to high-quality manufacturing processes, utilizing both hot and cold techniques to ensure that all products meet ISO standards.

The product portfolio at M L Scents is expansive, featuring a variety of items such as insecticides, fragrances, and hygiene products.
