JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA – Marcia “Cia” Morata has become the first
housemate to leave the Big Brother Mzansi: Bazozwa house. Her departure was
announced on Thursday, January 15, 2026, after she requested help for her well-being.
A Difficult Decision
Cia’s exit follows a series of emotional moments during her short stay in the house.
According to an official update, she became emotional and started crying on
Thursday morning. After a scheduled yoga session, she told Big Brother that she was
not feeling well. She received immediate help and spoke with an on-site psychologist
to see if she was fit to continue.
Health and Well-being First
Following the medical assessment, the decision was made for Cia to leave the
competition. The show’s producers stated that this was done in the best interest of
her health and well-being.” Cia will continue to receive the support she needs after
leaving the competition,” the statement confirmed.
A Short Journey
Cia’s departure comes just four days after the new season launched on Sunday,
January 11, 2026. While her time on the show was short, the producers, including
MultiChoice and CANAL+ wished her well in her future goals.
The team remains committed to the care of all housemates still inside the Bazozwa
