Condemnation and ShockMEC Jabu Mbalula, responsible for Community Safety, Roads and Transport, is shocked and saddened by the brutal murder of Matshidiso Nteo, Chairperson of QwaQwa United Taxi Association (QWAUTA).
Details of the IncidentNteo was ambushed and killed by unknown assailants in Thabanatshoana Village, QwaQwa, on January 24, 2025. Her husband also died in similar circumstances.
Call for ActionMbalula strongly condemns the murder, stating that bloodshed in the Free State taxi industry won't be tolerated. He directed police to intensify efforts to catch the perpetrators and appealed for information leading to arrests.
