People in Iran have been warned to avoid shopping centres, and schools are closed as Iran retaliates with widespread attacks against Israel and targeted US military bases in the Middle East today, a state Statement from Tehran said.
In a Statement by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), it condemned the attacks on Tehran by Israel and announced Iran's retaliatory response.
"In response to the aggression of the hostile and criminal enemy against the Islamic Republic of Iran, the first wave of large-scale missile and drone attacks by the Islamic Republic of Iran toward the occupied territories has begun," the IRGC said.
