People in Iran have been warned to avoid shopping centres, and schools are closed as Iran retaliates with widespread attacks against Israel and targeted US military bases in the Middle East today, a state Statement from Tehran said.
In a Statement by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), it condemned the attacks on Tehran by Israel and announced Iran’s retaliatory response.
“In response to the aggression of the hostile and criminal enemy against the Islamic Republic of Iran, the first wave of large-scale missile and drone attacks by the Islamic Republic of Iran toward the occupied territories has begun,” the IRGC said.
“The Head of the Judiciary and the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran are in complete health and well-being,” the IRGC added.
In other reports from Tehran, an American base in Bahrain was targeted by Iranian missile attacks. Iran has fired missiles at a U.S. Navy logistics centre in Bahrain.
There was more and more footage released of Iran’s reported attack on the US Navy’s Naval Support Activity (NSA) in Bahrain.
Spokesperson of the Iranian Armed Forces said: “We will teach Israel and the United States a lesson they have never experienced in their history.”
Meanwhile, the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, in its
Statement No. 1, notified the people of Iran: “This morning, the brutal regime of the United States, in coordination with the corrupt Zionist regime, carried out aerial operations against certain sites in the country. This occurred once again during ongoing negotiations, and the enemy imagines that the steadfast people of Iran will submit to their cowardly actions. The Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran have begun a decisive response to these malicious acts and will continuously keep the dear people informed.”
The Secretariat of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran said attention should be paid to the following points:
🔹 According to intelligence obtained from these two corrupt regimes, their operations in Tehran and some other cities are expected to continue. Therefore, while maintaining calm, travel to other cities wherever possible to stay safe from the malign actions of these regimes.
🔹 The Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran has already prepared all the essential supplies for society, and there is no need to worry about public provisions. Citizens are advised to avoid shopping centres, as this could pose risks.
🔹 Schools and universities will remain closed until further notice.
🔹 Banks will continue to provide services to the dear people of Iran.
🔹 Government offices will operate at 50% capacity for the time being.

Phone Call by Iran’s Foreign Minister with Regional Counterparts
Following the military aggression by the United States and the Zionist regime against Iran, Seyyed Abbas Araqchi, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, held phone calls with his counterparts from Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Iraq.
During the calls, he informed them of the ongoing developments and described this military aggression as a blatant violation of the fundamental principles of the United Nations Charter and a clear crime against international peace and security. He emphasised that the Islamic Republic of Iran will use all its defensive and military capabilities to defend the integrity of Iran, in accordance with its inherent right to self-defence.
The Foreign Minister referred to Iran’s determination to continue its policy of good neighbourliness and friendship with all countries in the region. He also highlighted the fundamental principle of international law prohibiting any participation in aggressive acts against another country, reminding all regional countries of their responsibility to prevent the U.S. and the Zionist regime from using their territories and facilities to carry out aggressive operations against Iran.
He stressed that Iran’s armed forces, in exercising the inherent right of national defence under international law, will consider the origins and sources of U.S. and Zionist aggression, as well as any actions targeting Iran’s defensive operations, as legitimate objectives.
Araqchi underscored that the imposed war by the U.S. and the Zionist regime is not only against the Iranian nation but against all countries in the region. Therefore, it is incumbent upon all nations and Muslim governments in the region to fulfil their historical responsibility to counter the Zionist regime’s malicious plans.

The Political, Security, and Social Deputy Governor of Hormozgan province earlier stated that the attacks by the Israeli regime on Minab County, a girls’ elementary school was directly targeted.
