BREAKING: HORROR AS DOGS DRAG NEWBORN’S HEAD THROUGH BLOEMSIDE STREET, FREE STATE

BLOEMFONTEIN, Free State MEC for Community Safety, Roads and Transport, Jabu Mbalula, has ordered an urgent and intensified police search after a resident allegedly saw dogs dragging a newborn baby’s head through a Bloemside street in Mangaung on Wednesday.

Police are also searching for the baby’s mother and the rest of the child’s body after the horrifying discovery sent shockwaves through the community. A case docket of concealment of birth has been opened.

Horrified by the grim discovery,
Mbalula said the incident was among the most disturbing things he had encountered.
“I have come across terrible things in my life, but nothing comes close to this. In all my life, never have I heard of dogs dragging a human head on the street. It is important that the mother is quickly found so that we can get to the bottom of this matter,” Mbalula said.

The MEC further said he had spoken to police management and instructed them to deploy experienced detectives to investigate the case.

Appeal for Information*

“I have spoken to the police management and directed them to put their best detectives on the case to speedily bring the mother in for questioning,” Mbalula said.

He appealed to anyone with information about the whereabouts of the mother or the rest of the baby’s body to contact the police.

He further urged women facing challenges, including unwanted pregnancies, to seek assistance from public health institutions. Police investigations are continuing- @NewsSA_Online
