Officer SPI Sefatsa who had just knocked off, met a scene near Hillside flats where the alleged robbers saw her marked vehicle while firing shots at a cash truck, they then fired her car with 11 bullets and she was hit by only one. By Sitha Maliwa: Two newborn baby boys who were abducted from Dora Nginza Hospital in Gqeberha on Tuesday night have been found safe, less than 24 hours after their disappearance. The South African Police Service (SAPS) confirmed that the babies were recovered and two female suspects, aged 25 and 26, have been arrested on charges of child stealing. The infants, aged four days and two days respectively, were reported missing on the evening of 20 May 2025. The woman is reported to have carried and travelled with the child’s body in a suitcase in a taxi from Mzamba to the Mbizana police station. She travelled a total of approximately 30km to reach the police station, where she dropped off the child and was arrested immediately.
